Meridian is designed to collect as little as possible. There is no sign-up and no account: the application runs in your browser and stores your work-log data locally, on your own device. This policy explains the limited cases where data does leave your device, and what happens to it.
Meridian ("we", "our", "us") is an independently developed work-analytics and reporting tool for freelancers and independent professionals. For any question about this policy, contact privacy@meridian.app.
By default, Meridian stores everything locally in your browser (via localStorage): your logged tasks, projects, categories, preferences, and report history. This data is never transmitted to us and never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose one of the sync options below.

We do not operate a database of user accounts, and we do not track visitors with analytics or advertising scripts.
We do not use this data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not share it with anyone except the service providers listed in Section 6, solely to the extent needed to provide the features above.
Because Meridian doesn't hold an account or profile for you on our servers, most of your data is already entirely in your control:
If you are in the European Economic Area, UK, or another jurisdiction with statutory data-subject rights, and you believe we hold data about you beyond what's described above, contact privacy@meridian.app and we will respond within a reasonable time, and in any case within 30 days.
We set a single, functional httpOnly cookie only if you use "Connect with Google", it stores your OAuth refresh token so the app can fetch your sheet data. We do not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies.
Meridian is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
If we make a material change to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Meridian after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
